Broadway style plays, musicals and children’s programs are enjoyed at the Manatee Players at Riverfront Theatre.
The Village of the Arts District in downtown Bradenton is a home to artists where they can live, work, and sell their creations. In 1999 the Artists’ Guild of Bradenton formed an association to revitalize a blighted area into a picturesque one to draw visitors and artistic residents. On the first weekend of each month an “Art Walk” is held in the district. Among its dozens of members, artists include Bonni Bakes Edible Art, Graciela Giles Studios, Giles Studios, Rose Art Studios, the Village Potter, William’s Wood, Berke Photography, Bits and Pieces, and Different Strokes.
